This study examines the distinctive artistic and structural features of Munir Ahmad Khawar’s poetry, highlighting the aesthetic, linguistic, and spiritual dimensions that shape his poetic identity. His work demonstrates a refined command of san‘at‑e‑manqūtah, an elegant use of rhyme and refrain, and a remarkable diversity of themes. The analysis foregrounds his mastery of prosodic variation, the musicality of short metres, and the sustained rhythm, melody, and tonal sweetness that characterise his verse. Khawar’s creative craftsmanship emerges through his controlled diction, sacred treatment of language, and fluid sonic patterns. The study further explores his stylistic simplicity, rhetorical clarity, and the structural balance that underpins both his ghazal and non-rhyming devotional poetry. His use of simile and metaphor remains notably unembellished yet deeply evocative, while his selective deployment of idioms and compound expressions reflects linguistic discipline. Special attention is given to his Na‘at poetry, where prayerful supplication, spiritual resonance, and emotional elevation converge within traditional and mustaẓād forms. The research also considers his innovative alphabetical arrangement, structural coherence, and subtle intertextual allusions. Overall, the study demonstrates that Khawar’s oeuvre embodies a continuous trajectory of artistic refinement, marked by sonic harmony, thematic breadth, and a distinctive devotional sensibility.
