The original name of Sajid Warsalkavi was Fateh Muhammad Cheema. He is a lost poet of district Sialkot. He wrote many books. His known and prominent book of poetry was Nawa-e-Sajid. Nawa-e-Sajid is originally written in Urdu, but at the end of it, about eleven pages contain his Persian words. Apart from this, the second verse of Persian poems and the second line of many poems have been written in Persian in various, in addition to the use of Turkish, Arabic, and English words can also be seen in the book. Then most of his booklets have been printed in the Punjabi language i.e. due to his special familiarity with the Punjabi language, Punjabi words are also found in his writings.
